I’ve been totally out of my element for the past few days mostly due to lack of sleep. And quite honestly, I channel all my meager energies in writing stuff for LifeSpy that I’ve not been able to make rounds as of late until just a few moments ago before I decided to make some rounds here and there. Di bale, it’s my “lunch break” from LifeSpying.
I didn’t consider going to the Philippine Blog Awards. Not that I’m being a sore bummer or anything, it was just my turn to watch over our mother that night. So I practically missed the whole prayer thing that had Benj all riled up about. Here are links to Benj‘s posts on the matter – The Politically-Incorrect Philippine Blog Awards and Apathy Towards Zealotry Is Not An Option.

Thanks to J. Angelo for extending my discussion on blogging and generalizations. And on the Blog Herald no less!
I’m seeing great inputs from the comments. I love his take on the differences of perspectives used by bloggers. This diversity, I guess, gives the much needed color to the blogosphere that reflects our own diversity as people too. This diversity also drives the blogosphere to be dynamic. And, if ever the blogosphere loses this dynamism, I believe that it’s the failure of the social experiment known as Web 2.0.

Anyway, it’s a Monday and back to the real world. And what a way to start it by reading such a headline on the Inquirer – “Arroyo: No more EDSA revolts.”
Sure, the PDI is not some two-bit tabloid who’d print classics like “Katulong nireyp ng ninja” (“Maid raped by ninja”) but to me, it’s the same thing. Same old story, same old characters, new actors to play out the parts. It’s like James Bond prior to Casino Royale.
Okay, so it’s all in the context of remembering the first EDSA circa 1986. People Power. A Revolution. But after three EDSAs*, what has changed? We revolted but have we revolved?

Maybe it’s a lack of perspective. Or maybe it’s the Pinoy blogger’s tendency to act all high and mighty. Or maybe he’s just plain joking. Or maybe I’m overreacting.
Anyway, I’m referring to this particular post which prompted me to share my two cents worth on jologs and “The r0kkeRzZzZ \m/.” The post I’m referring to is Ade Magnaye’s Know your Jologs Part 1.
I stumbled upon this post on the Man Blog in my search for a mental breather and for some reason, reading the Man Blog is just like watching Jack TV or WWE. It doesn’t take too much brain power but sure cracks you up.
