Lookie here, a reality TV show for voters

The Communication Foundation for Asia (CFA) will be producing a series of TV shows on voters. It’ll be dubbed Vote 4 U.

Here’s what’s on the CFA website:

Game participants would be challenged to do deep and serious research on candidates — focusing on platforms instead of superficials. They would be asked to analyze media coverage of the campaign and election. Surveys and campaign ads would be critiqued. The idea is to make the players (and the audience) aware of how media could manipulate voters through incomplete, inaccurate, irresponsible or unfair portrayal of the campaign and election process. At the conclusion of the program, the players would be asked to devise ways to ensure the protection of ballots.

For those who’d want to participate, here are the contact details:

4427 Int. Old Sta. Mesa, Sta. Mesa, Manila
713-2981

Look for Sheila.

Now, personally I think this would be a nice spin-off passe reality TV. As far as I know, reality TV is just one of those things you credit to the industry of cool (MTV). Could we trust something that’s spun off from that which ruined everything we loved about sticking up to the Man? Reality TV, IMHO, is the devil incarnate.

Anyway, I’d be one who’d be interested in watching this one. Any blogger who’d be interested in joining? Haha.
