Chris Cornell says good-bye to Audioslave

Chris Cornell
Give me the “What next?”

But we all thought that all good things would not come to last. When Audioslave formed years back, we were all thinking that it’s Rage Against the Machine with the Soundgarden vocalist. But after hearing Cochise, we all thought, “Hey, we have something great here.” And Like a Stone felt like we somehow resurrected Seattle underground once again.

The news of the Rage reunion made the break-up of Audioslave expected. It’s somehow sad but it is expected. Let’s face it, Rage is back. Cornell could always go solo anyway.

  2. Yup. And I can’t wait to hear those rebel-with-causes RATM songs again!

  3. i doubt it. Tom’s tired of Zach’s saliva for sure.

  4. Nope, they’ll be reuniting for a show:

“His colleagues, guitarist Tom Morello, bassist Tim Commerford and drummer Brad Wilk, have reunited with singer Zack de la Rocha to resurrect their former band Rage Against the Machine, which will play its first show in seven years at California’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on April 29. Rage’s plans beyond this show are unknown.”
