I’ve been sorting thousands of MP3 files in my old desktop and I found this little gem. It’s an acoustic version of Worse by Ethos.

The first time I met Ethos, they were composed of Kristel Serra (vocals), Bammer Pilar (guitars) and Patrick Ocampo (bass). For some reason, since Bammer’s a friend of the council, Ethos was a mainstay in our lineups whenever we had cultural nights in CAL.

The next time I tapped them for a concert, Kristel was replaced Gideon Abaquita and they then had a drummer whose name I forgot. They were pretty much into harder stuff and J-rock. Probably why they’ve opted for a male vocalist. And that was the last time I’ve seen them perform on stage. The last I heard from Patrick, the (former?) band members were concentrating on other things.

In any case, I remember Bammer giving me a copy of this song with instructions to even make copies of it and hand it out to people. I hope that still stands. So after a couple of years gathering virtual hard drive dust, I thought I’d share it to the public.

I’ve heard them play this song twice and I like the acoustic version better, arrangement courtesy of Patrick and Bammer, I think.

In any case, I believe that copyright is still held by whoever penned this one. I have no details on who wrote this song. Friends from QCSHS swear that they’ve heard of this song from their QCSHS days so it’s probably from a while back.
