thanks for this useful worm removal tool!

my laptop running winXP was recently infected by the baguio worm. symptoms included pop up window before the welcome screen during boot up and the hard disks can’t be opened simply by double left clicking the mouse. i had Avast anti virus that time but the worm was not detected. installed AVG and did a full scan… the worm was detected and healed but everytime i double left click the mouse on a disk drive it can’t be opened and a message saying exiplorer can’t be found.

tried using leerz’ noob killer and it worked.

maraming salamat, akala ko minumulto na ako nung isang madaling araw nung nagbukas ako ng laptop dahil sa strawberry na yan thanks man it worked!!!! i salute you for having these removal tools and wont charge a single peso to acquire it. nawa’y pag-palain ka pa ng lubos!!

hi alex,

it’s a good thing that I was able to find this because I’ve been looking for an avenue to give my thanks to Mr. Leerz for making his Noob.Killer available for people to test. It worked on me; and not only did it removed the TAGA LIPA ARE but it also removed that pesky window pop-up of SSCVIIHOST.EXE leftover from the nhatquanglan virus contracted (and now removed) from before.

It also detected and removed the “I’M NOT THE ONLY ONE” flash drive virus. However, that particular one is hard to removed completely. It keeps popping up everytime you start up the computer.

Oh, well. At least it detected it. AVG and the paid version of Norton does not even recognize it.
