The ConstructDiscourse, Society, Language, New Media, and I

I just finished this tutorial for LifeSpy and I’m having problems following up on it. It’s only 7 AM and I should be just on schedule to write another post just about now. But it seems like I’m running low on blogging juice, well at least for feature articles. Musings and rambling seems to have an infinite resource.

I always get too cranky when I don’t get enough sleep. Sleep is like my consuelo de bobo from a hard day’s work the night before. Too bad, when I’m stressed I enter some bouts of insomnia. I was awake a bit past midnight. I tried reading some more Garp but I was just too groggy to understand Irving. Graaaah! (Aaaargh! spelled backwards.)

In any case, just not to be labeled emo (f*ck the word), I’m trying to lay off the mopey pills and inject me with some much needed Prozac. I haven’t really drugged myself for the purposes of getting high. Though I know I’ve downed too many pills in my day (I was a sickly kid). I don’t want to start being a doobie-fiend now.

Since I’m stuck in front of my PC, I only have other blogs and websites to keep me company. Relying on the web for a few laughs is comforting at times.

I have to give props to this guy. A daily dose of Greenpinoy certainly helps. Yeah, the jokes may be green and laughing at them is like logging frequent flier miles for a ticket to hell, but what the heck. A good laugh is a good laugh. Could someone give this guy an award for next year’s blog awards or something? Good thing there’s also StumbleUpon. My toolbar’s topic menu is practically stuck on Humor so that laughs can just be a click away.

Jeez. This has been a boring post. Okay, back to work now.
