Am no Harry Potter fan. But since this guy just showed his gonads on stage and he’ll still be Harry Potter, you’ll wonder where he uses his wand and broomstick when no one’s looking. Anyway, here’s the newly released Harry Potter: Order of the Phoenix poster.

I remember promising myself to update this blog at least once a day. Well, I think I’ll be breaking that promise.
The summer heat is unbearable. And with a house that doesn’t have airconditioning, it’s a bummer. I’ve split my PC use for early mornings and late afternoons in fear of my rig overheating again. Face it, global warming is real. (Yeah, so is Manbearpig!)

I’m a fan of a lot of things. I waited for 300 for a whole darn year (after it got the studio green light) being a Frank Miller fan. I can’t wait for Sin City 2. Having Jessica Alba there too doubles my anticipation. (Oh yeah and I still think watching Into the Blue‘s worth the time and money just for staring at Jessica Alba in bikinis.)
And I’m an Al Pacino fan (no, unlike my raves for Jessica Alba, I don’t want to see him in a bikini). I really like his acting. Scarface and The Godfather made me want to be a gangster. He was the bomb in a whole lot of films. The moment I heard he was cast for Ocean’s Thirteen had me excited about the franchise again. I personally think 12 was crappy to ruin what 11 built up.
In any case, here’s the poster:
Oh yeah, it’s been a while since I saw Pacino and Andy Garcia together (The Godfather Part III).
Oh here’s the trailer too.

Blogging is really big in the University. You’ve got student-bloggers and even professor-bloggers. So why not create a UP org just for bloggers? And that’s what BA Racoma is proposing.
UP Bloggers’ Circle. Ayos, ‘di ba?
BA has put up a Groups for those interested.
Technically, I could sign-up (being a grad student and all). Hmm…

The morning after. Unfortunately it’s not one after some hot sex. But no, it’s the morning after the iBlog 3 and our alumni homecoming (which I’ll write about on a separate entry).
I’d have to congratulate Janette Toral and the rest of the organizers for a really worthwhile 2 days of discussions and dialogs on blogging in the Philippine setting.
I met a handful of other bloggers too. It’s nice to be recognized by a few when I plugged myself in the open mic forum. Met up with a few acquaintances too (seen Ade face to face after a decade) and I finally got to meet Sexy Mom and BA too.
I was really asking questions then. Even when Jester-in-Exile beat me to the mic a couple of times, I caught up with a few speakers outside to push my queries there. At least I got to introduce myself and got a green light to e-mail them some of my questions.
I’m not one who has enough time to really analyze everything and review each and every word said by each of the speakers. I’d rather do that when go really deeper into things when I consolidate what I jotted down from iBlog 3 and my own research on blogging. So I’m featuring my favorite quips from the speakers and just place a comment or two. I didn’t have a recorder with me so pardon if I paraphrase some things.
